A few months after the launch of the new series of sedans, the house with the four rings will introduce the Audi S3 sedan.
Its 2.0 TFSI yields 300 HP (221 KW) and develops a torque of 380 Nm. The suspension lowers the ride height by 25 mm. After the series of wheels 18 inches hides a brake system of large dimensions, whose front discs having a diameter of 340 mm.

The electrical operating direction progressive transmission ratio varies, more indirect in the central position and very direct steering by force. The driving dynamics system Audi drive select belongs to the standard equipment, while regulation of Audi magnetic ride shock absorbers is available as an option. 1. Turn off the A4. Ensure that the parking brake is on and that the gear selector is in Park.
2. Open the trunk by either pulling on the trunk release button beneath the steering wheel or by pressing the trunk release button on your key fob if you have that option.
3. Locate the oval panel on the side of the trunk wall. Pry the panel off with a flathead screwdriver, using gentle pressure to avoid cracking the plastic of the trunk. There will be a bolt head inside the cavity that was covered by the plastic panel.
4. Loosen the bolt inside the cavity. This will release the lens cover on the brake light on the rear of your Audi. Be prepared to catch the lens, to prevent scratching the lens or the rear paint. If the lens cover does not come off on its own, you can pry it off gently with a flathead screwdriver. Be gentle to avoid damaging the paint or cracking the lens.
5. Remove the light bulb from the electrical harness by hand. The bulb just plugs into the port--no special tools are necessary. Place the lens cover back on the tail light. While holding the lens up, thread the bolt back into the cavity by hand until it catches in the grooves on the lens backing. Tighten the lens down with a wrench, until the lens cover will no longer wiggle if you push on it.
6. Repeat this process for the other tail light. Turn the car back on and test the brake lights by pressing down on the brakes while someone else looks for the brake lights to signal.

1. Open the hood and examine the area behind the headlights or front turn signals. You should see where the wires go into the back of the bulbs.
2. Remove the cover for the headlight housing, if there is one. This will be held on either with snaps or a couple of Phillips-head screws.
3. On some models, such as the A4, you must remove the air intake duct on the passenger side to gain access to the bulb. This is held on with two Torx screws on top of the duct.
4. Remove the two or three screws that hold the top of the headlight housing in place. Loosen--but do not remove--the screws that hold the bottom into place.
5. Gently push the headlight forward to gain access to the bulbs.
6. Unclip the wire clip that holds the bulb into the housing, and pull out the bulb and harness.
7. Install the new bulb in the reverse of removal.
8. Open the trunk (on a sedan) or the hatch (on a wagon), and inspect the area behind the taillights and rear turn-signal housings. There will be a small, round plug in the back of the housing that conceals the screw for the housing.
9. Pry the housing cover out with a thin screwdriver, and remove the screw.
10. Pull the taillight housing away from the body of the car. You may have to move some of the rubber seal that goes over the housing to be able to pull it out.
11. Separate the panel that holds the bulbs from the back of the housing.
12. Press down gently on the bulb, and turn the bulb to release it.
13. Install the new bulb and replace the pieces in the reverse of removal.

1. Open the hood and remove both T25 Torx screws found at the top of the headlights. This is done from outside of the vehicle.
2. Loosen the two T25 Torx screws found on each side of the headlights. To get a better reach of the screws, attach an extension to the screwdriver.
3. Pull out the headlights and press the metal clips behind them in order to detach the headlights from the wiring.
4. Pull out the turn signal bulbs at the sides of the headlight units.
5. Pull out the headlight back covers and press the metals clips behind the bulbs to unplug the wiring. Slide out the xenon and high beam bulbs using a cloth to prevent them from getting smeared with oil from your skin.
6. Repeat the steps in reverse with the new xenon bulbs.

1. Jack up on the front of your Audi A4 under the front jack point behind the radiator, using the floor jack.
2. Place jack stands under the front pinch welds of the vehicle and lower the Audi onto the stands.
3. Climb under the vehicle and disconnect the electrical connector from the oxygen sensor.
4. Unbolt the oxygen sensor from the exhaust using an O2 sensor socket and socket wrench.
5. Remove the sensor and thread the new sensor into the exhaust. Tighten the sensor using a socket wrench and O2 sensor socket.
6. Reconnect the electrical leads to the sensor.
7. Lower the A4 to the ground using the floor jack.

1. Remove the two bolts that secure the water outlet housing to the Audis engine with a socket and ratchet. With the bolts removed, lift the housing off the engine to expose the thermostat.
2. Note the positioning of the thermostat inside the engine. When you replace the thermostat, you must install it with the same positioning. Pull the old thermostat out of the engine and plug the hole with a shop rag.
3. Remove the old gasket from the engine with a wire brush or metal scraper. Do the same for the old gasket material stuck to the bottom of the water outlet housing.
4. Pull out the shop rag from the engine and install the new thermostat into position. Place a new gasket over the thermostat.
5. Place the water outlet housing onto the gasket and secure both to the engine with the socket and ratchet.

1. Remove the retaining clip that holds the headlight cover in place by pulling it straight off the back of the headlight. Then, remove the cover.
2. Open the hood and disconnect the power connector from the back of the headlight assembly ballast.
3. Remove the headlight by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it out of the housing.
4. Insert the new headlight and turn it clockwise to lock it into the housing.
5. Reconnect the power connector to the ballast.

1. Go to Navigation.com, and use the menus on the left to select Built-in, Factory Installed, then Audi and A8/A8L/S8. Select your cars year, and the current update is shown.
2. Click Add to Cart and Checkout. Enter your payment and shipping information so the update may be mailed to you. The update is sent on a DVD.
3. Insert the new DVD into the navigation system and wait for the update screen to appear. Enter the authorization code provided on the DVD case, if prompted to do so. Wait for the update process to complete, then eject the DVD from the system. The new maps are now ready to use.

The Audi luxury car took preamble Auto Show New York to present its new global compact Audi A3 sedan.

The dynamic four-door, which will be hitting the markets of Latin America and the Caribbean later this year, has all the virtues of the A3: low weight thanks to lightweight, powerful and highly efficient engines and high-end solutions technology in the field of infotainment and driver assistance systems. The most powerful model series is the Audi S3 sedan 300 hp (221 kW), which hit the market a few months after the arrival of the Audi A3.

The Design
The design of the Audi A3 sedan bridges the classic concept three-box or three volumes and coupe philosophy. The tornado line traces a bright contour marking that extends around the edge. The overhangs are short. Battle With 2.64 meters, the four-door has an overall length of 4.46 meters.

With 1.80 m, the Audi A3 sedan is 11 mm wider than the A3 Sportback, although it has a lower height 9 mm (1.42 meters). As the contours of the engine hood, the bumpers, the air inlets and the escutcheon of the single-frame grille, the four-door also opt for a style.
At the rear, the spoiler is integrated into the boot lid, while the light clusters enhance your cutting width and the effect of horizontal plane. On request Audis LED technology provides.

Body
Equipped with the 1.4 TFSI engine, the car weighs only 1205 kg -- (provisional value). To achieve a low weight and high mechanical resistance used in the interior Audi numerous pieces of hardened steel mold, while the bonnet is made of aluminum. Motors
in Latin America and the Caribbean, the Audi A3 sedan will be available with three four-cylinder engines: the 1.2 TFSI. The 1.4 TFSI and 1.8 TFSI. The most radical version, the Audi S3 sedan, will be equipped with the 2.0 TFSI.

All engines are newly developed and flaunt the Audi efficiency technologies: direct injection, turbo charging, the innovative thermal management and the Start-Stop-System in countries that meet the Euro 5 standard fuel. The 110 hp 1.2 TFSI yields (81 kW) and will be equipped with manual gearbox or six-speed dual-clutch S Tronic seven, both with front-wheel drive.
The 125 hp 1.4 TFSI yields (92 kW) and gearboxes have dual-clutch seven-speed S Tronic and front wheel drive.

The yields 180 hp 1.8 TFSI (132 kW) and 250 Nm of torque. It offers a full suite of advanced technologies, among which double injection in the combustion chamber and the intake manifold. With a standard acceleration of 7.3 seconds and a top speed of 232 km / h, the engine provides a truly sporting performance. Walk 66.4 miles / gallon (17.5 km / l or 5.7 liters per 100 km), which is equivalent to 135 grams of CO2 per km.

In combination with the dynamic driving system Audi drive select the S Tronic gearbox incorporates a function mode decoupling efficiency further reducing fuel consumption.

Undercarriage
The pole position that the Audi A3 sedan in its segment occupies largely due to its undercarriage, characterized by the need to balance the distribution of axle loads (depending on the engine, at a ratio of 60 percent forward and backward 40 percent). All engines are mounted tilted back 12 degrees, with the suspension of the front wheels in a very advanced position.

The front axle is a McPherson construction with triangular cross arms and swivel bearings made from aluminum. Said shaft is coupled by articulation with aluminum sub frame. The electromechanical power steering is responsive and efficient operating and collaborating with different assistance systems. In the four-arm rear axle, with a bridge made of steel, the springs and dampers are mounted separately. Undercarriages for online sports Ambition S line and lower the ride height by up to 25 mm.

The interior
the interior of the Audi A3 sedan is characterized by the high level of detail. The lines and surfaces have a clear line, and under the windshield extend a long arc. The dashboard, with its arched front, is slender, and the center console is slightly towards the driver. The optional color display driver information system (FIS) introduced 3D graphics with great detail.

Since MMI radio equipment on board is mounted MMI operating system with a screen that folds electrically. Its terminal is located in the center tunnel console. The electromechanical parking brake is activated by a key.

Thanks to the long wheelbase, also the rear seat passengers enjoy plenty of space and comfortable access. The boot capacity is 425 liters. Can be extended by folding the rear seatbacks, as an option to integrate a charging port. After unlocking, the tailgate opens by itself.

Infotainment and Audi connect
like the other models in the series, the A3 Sedan uses new modular infotainment platform (MIB). MMI navigation plus system leads the platform with a SSD hard disk capacity of 64 GB, a DVD player and voice control with whole-word identification.

Other notable component of infotainment is the sound system Bang & Olufsen. Its 705-watt amplifier manages 14 speakers in 5.1 sound and a series of LED optical light conductors frames woofers in the front doors.

1. Add the oil-based dye, supplied in the kit, to the power steering reservoir. The reservoir for the Audi A4 is located on the drivers side inner fender well, just in front of the windshield reservoir. Test-drive the vehicle for 10 minutes to circulate the dye and load the power steering system. This will force small leaks to show up.
2. Use the black light, supplied in the kit, to search under the hood for leaks. Start at the power steering reservoir, following both the small return hose and the larger supply hose to the power steering pump and the rack and pinion steering gear. Note any leaks found.
3. Raise and support the vehicle using the floor jack and jack stands. Then, from underneath, inspect the power steering rack and the power steering hoses. Note any leaks found.

1. Upgrade the A6 engine to 5.2-liter V-10 levels of performance, 435 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 398 ft-lb of torque at 3,000 rpm. As previously mentioned, sourcing an Audi V-10 is near impossible as they are not sold as crate engines, so the only feasible path for an engine swap is to buy it secondhand, which is also near impossible given the rarity of S6s in America. Europe and now China, have the greatest number but after shipping, the cost can be as much as the A6 itself. Realistically the only way is to upgrade is to flash the Engine Control Unit (ECU) to S6 levels of performance, though this will also require upgrades to the air-intake and exhaust.
2. Flash the ECU with upgraded software; this is available from a number of vendors. To reach 435 hp the engine will need to be turbocharged and the exhaust replaced. Flashing the ECU is the easiest with most options just involving hooking up a software module to the diagnostic port though some must be hardwired into the ECU itself. If the flasher needs to be soldered on then an auto repair shop should install it given the danger of permanent damage.
3. Turbocharge the engine; preferably with the turbochargers that are used on the Audi RS6 but there are universal turbochargers that will give similar levels of performance, these just take longer to install. The highest level of the 6 platform is the RS6 which uses the same V-8 engine as the A6, but turbocharged. These turbochargers are somewhat easier to find but there are also third-party vendors that offer turbochargers as well. This installation should be done by a professional auto shop, preferably one that specializes in high-end European imports.
4. Upgrade the exhaust; if possible use the exhaust off the S6 or RS6 but there are many vendors that supply exhaust systems for the A6. Borla and Remus are the most popular options and again require an auto shop to complete as the header work alone can take a week.
5. Swap badges; Audi tends to be less prolific than other car companies in their love of badges however they still need to be replaced if the transformation is to be complete. The real badges are expensive and somewhat rare, however there are fake badges that are mirror images and cannot be told apart exceptt by an Audi technician. The S6 badges are needed on the outside and the S6 speedometer facing will need to be placed.

1. Position the car ramps behind the vehicle and back up onto the ramps slowly. Place the tire stops in position behind the front tires to secure the vehicle from moving during the replacement.
2. Lift the vehicles hood and locate the fuse panel. Remove the bolt securing the panel using the crescent wrench. Remove the fuse responsible for controlling the fuel pump.
3. Find the fuel filter under the rear of the vehicle near the fuel tank. Position the floor jack below the fuel tank in preparation of lowering the tank. You will only be lowering the fuel tank about four inches. Using the crescent wrench, remove both metal holding straps that secure the fuel tank in place.
4. Using the floor jack, lower the fuel tank about 4 to 6 inches to gain full access to the fuel filter. Use the crescent wrench to remove both fuel lines going into the fuel filter. Remove the securing bolt and remove the old fuel filter.
5. Install the new filter and replace the securing bolt. Reattach both fuel lines ensuring the arrows on the filter are pointing toward the front of the vehicle. Using the floor jack, lift the fuel tank back in place and reattach the metal holding straps.
6. Reinstall the fuel pump fuse and reattach the bolt that secures the fuse panel. Remove the tire stops and start the vehicle. Drive the vehicle off the car ramps.

1. Turn your vehicles ignition off and press and hold the two outer buttons on your Audis system until the red indicator light begins to flash.
2. Press and hold the button on the remote you wish to program until the indicator light begins flashing.
3. Leave your car and hold your remote near the right headlight.
4. Press the open button on your remote and hold it until the hazard lights blink three times.
5. Press and hold the HomeLink training button inside of the car until the indicator light glows solid. If the light does not turn solid, continue to the following steps.
6. Press and hold the smart button on your garage motor, located on the side or back near the antenna wire.
7. Press the train button on your Audi system within 30 seconds of pressing the smart button and wait for the indicator light to glow solid. The programming will now be complete and your remote will be ready to use.

1. Turn the vehicle off and locate the center button on the right side of the instrument panel.
2. Hold the center button while switching the ignition to the “ON” position. Release the center button and wait for the instrument panel display to read “SERVICE!”.
3. Press and hold the farthest button on the right near the center button. Wait for the service indicator light to clear, and then turn off the ignition.

1. Inspect the fuel injectors of your Audi if you see fuel leaking underneath the engine. The internal seals of the injectors may have malfunctioned, allowing gasoline to leak into the engine compartment. If the fuel comes into contact with an ignition source, a fire could start in the engine. Replace each of the fuel injectors to resolve this issue.
2. Check the airbag sensor on your Audi if the airbag icon lights up on your dashboard. The airbag sensor may have malfunctioned. If the sensor is not working correctly, the airbag restraint system can accidentally deploy and cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle and crash. Replace the sensor to avoid this result.
3. Look at the universal CV boot on the Audi 90 if you hear a ticking noise while you are either backing up or turning the front wheels of the sedan. This boot could be cracked, damaged or leaking brake fluid. Look also at the CV joint to see if it is damaged or cracked. You should also inspect the CV half-shaft and ensure that the joint of the shaft is not worn or damaged.
4. Examine the fuel line assembly if you can smell gas fumes coming from the engine compartment while the engine is running. There may be a leak in the fuel lines. Make sure that the fuel filter does not have a leak in it and that the fuel pump has been installed correctly. Some or all of the fuel injectors may also be faulty, or the carburetor could be worn, damaged or faulty.

1. Listen for squealing during braking. The metallic scraping or squealing during braking is due to the A8s brake pad wear indicator. This means that your brake pad has reached the end of its service life and needs to be replaced.
2. Check to see if there is vibration while traveling at highway speeds. Your tires may be over or under-inflated. This is a simple problem to correct and requires a trip to the gas station. Most gas stations have an air pump. Set the pump dial to the correct tire pressure for the tires you have on the vehicle and correct the pressure.
3. Check to see if the engine rotates but will not start. This can be a symptom of an empty fuel tank. Hey, it happens to the best of us. If you let the fuel tank run dry trying to make it to a gas station it can be quite embarrassing. But, the fix is easy. Another potential problem could be that one of the battery cables is loose or is not making a good connection. This can happen if corrosion builds up on the terminals of the battery. It happens to nearly all types of batteries and the A8s battery is no exception. You can clean the battery terminal by pouring some baking soda on the terminals and scrubbing them with a wire brush.
4. Listen for clicking noises when you turn left or right. This happens due to a failing CV joint. This is common as the car ages because CV joints do eventually wear out. The protective boot rips, axle grease leaks out and the joint begins to grind. At this point, youll need to replace the entire CV shaft. This can be done at any good mechanics shop.

We need only one picture, but on that basis we are already quite impressed with how the new tuned Audi A3 with various JMS goodies look like. What immediately strikes the eye is the major spoiler underneath the existing front bumper. At the moment it does not jack on the rear using coarser side skirts, but what is not is yet to come.

OZ
Because the car wheels are also not lacking. JMS was awarded the prestigious OZ enabled and may provide different wheel designs in different sizes. The A3 on the picture rests on 19 inch racing wheels. Cost? For € 2.599, - they are yours. Want the OZs best to justice to perhaps a than an idea.
