Gucci and Fiat unveiled the 500 by Gucci, the special-edition model is available in a black and white exterior color with Gucci scheme green-red-green stripes. The vehicle will debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

The stripes also appears inside on the seats, on the gear shift, the key-cover, the carpets and on the seatbelts. The interior also features chic embroidery, exclusive materials, glossy and satin chromes, the velvety varnish on the “radioboard,” the two-toned seats in Frau leather with the Guccissima print.

Based on the 100bhp 1.4-litre petrol powered model, outside, the car comes with 195/45 R16 wheels, with rear brake calipers in Gucci green.

While Fiat marked the collaboration with the car, Gucci has come out with a a range of clothing and accessories to mark the occasion, including bags, hats, scarves, sunglasses and even a wristwatch. Both were launched at Milan Fashion Week, and will be displayed at a dedicated stand at the Geneva Motor Show next week.

Fiat and Gucci announce the "500 by Gucci": a new italian design icon is born

In the year that sees the celebration of both the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy and Guccis 90th anniversary, Gucci and Fiat are proud to unveil the 500 by Gucci, a special edition of the iconic Fiat 500 customized by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini in partnership with Fiats Centro Stile. This unique collaboration between two of Italys most respected brands represents the perfect - combination of craftsmanship and style. Launched on the opening day of Milan Fashion Week, the 500 by Gucci will also be on presented at the Geneva International Auto Show from March 3rd to13th, in a dedicated Gucci pop-up store within the Fiat stand.

Frida Giannini said, "In the 50s the Fiat 500 created a style revolution when it first hit the road. It quickly become the must-have car of its time. Travelling in style has also been at the heart of Gucci ever since Guccio Gucci founded his company as a producer of leather trunks, suitcases and handbags in 1921. So, when Lapo Elkann suggested the idea of this collaboration it struck me as a perfect opportunity to create a new modern travel statement in this Guccis 90th anniversary year".

The black and white colours of the 500 by Gucci, in unique eye-catching glossy pearl glass paint, set the stage for a neo-classic black and white film. These two distinct colors complement one another: black, with detailing in shiny chrome paired with interiors that contrast sharp black and white, for a contemporary and racy attitude. White, with satin chrome detailing and ivory and black interiors for a softer, sophisticated look.

The exterior is further personalized by rims for 195/45 R16 wheels, including the unmistakable retro design of the rays, harmonizing with the surrounding exterior colors and representing a novelty for this category of car. The hubcaps feature the interlocking GG in the same color of the body of the car and the cursive Gucci signature appears on the hatchback as well on the doorpost. The version equipped with 1.4 of 100 horsepower comes with rear break callipers in Gucci green. The cars silhouette is outlined by Guccis signature green-red-green stripe, which runs along the entire perimeter and links the exterior to the interior. The stripe also appears inside on the seats, on the gear shift, the key-cover, the carpets, and in an innovative finish on the seatbelts. The interior space of the 500 by Gucci is stylish yet functional down to every last detail: chic embroidery, exclusive materials, glossy and satin chromes, the velvety varnish on the "radioboard," the two-toned seats in Frau leather with the Guccissima print.

The communications activity behind the worldwide launch of the 500 by Gucci is being developed with the support of Lapo Elkann and his agency, Independent Ideas, and will include a fully integrated above and below-the-line campaign. Commenting on the collaboration, Lapo Elkann said: «I am honored that I was able to connect Fiat and Gucci, especially in such an important anniversary year for Italy. Being Italian, it makes me proud to have contributed to this 500 by Gucci, which brings together the spirit of two brands that so perfectly symbolize our countrys savoir faire in the world. It has indeed been very gratifying to work again on the car I love most with Fiats Centro Stile and with Frida Giannini».

The 500 by Gucci will initially be available from April 1st to June 30th exclusively by pre-order online at www.500bygucci.com, with a list price in Italy that starts from 17,000 euro all inclusive. The car will also be displayed in exclusive locations in metropolitan cities such as Paris, London and Tokyo, followed by the European commercial launch in July. It will then become available in the rest of the world at the end of the year.

Completing the customization is the exclusive 500 by Gucci collection, including travel accessories, small leather goods, drivers, tracksuits, bombers, driver gloves, sunglasses and a watch, which will be available in select Gucci stores and online at www.gucci.com from April 2011.

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

Mansory tuned the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta Stallone Mansory. The highlight of this program is to review aftermarket 6.2-liter V12 that now delivers 775hp (570 kW) compared to regular 740hp (544 kW).

This was made possible by reconfiguring the ECU and installing a sports exhaust system. Torque figure is also up in the series 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) to 725 Nm (535 lb-ft).

The bonnet has been redesigned, while the updated front wing now has custom air intakes. The new text has installed new side skirts, a discreet rear spoiler and an integrated diffuser. The car now rides on 21-inch front and 22 inch rear wheels with 255/30 R21 and 355/25 R22 front / rear tires.

The cabin features leather upholstery, visible carbon fiber applications, the seat lit doorway, aluminum pedals and a more ergonomic steering wheel.

The German aftermarket specialists from AC Schnitzer have revealed this week their tuning package for the 2011 BMW X3, featuring both performance upgrades and styling changes.



Starting with the styling package, the German aftermarket specialists offer a new aero kit that consists of front spoiler, the rear roof spoiler and rear skirt with company’s protective film. All these components are crash tested. The AC Schnitzer BMW X3 receives 22 inch rims, available in Type VIII forged or Type VII racing rims in BiColor or silver. Wheels sets are also available in 18, 19 or 20 inch.



For the styling kit, which has been crash tested, AC Schnitzer adds a front spoiler, the rear roof spoiler and the AC Schnitzer protective film for the rear skirt. As seen in the video, the front spoiler maintains its form quite well while allowing for collision absorption of a pedestrian.



As for the interior and aside from a new sports steering wheel currently in development, the tuner’s offerings include aluminium accents, a sports pedal set, and velour floor mats.

Unique and unmistakeable: The BMW X3 by AC Schnitzer



The new BMW X3, which has been available from dealers since autumn 2010, is uniquely versatile. Now BMW tuning specialist AC Schnitzer has developed an extensive range of accessories to make the second generation SUV stand out even more.



Just the AC Schnitzer performance upgrade from 184 to 218 HP in the X3 xDrive20d ensures that the vehicle stands out from the crowd. And in the near future, the Aachen-based specialist will be offering a performance upgrade for the X3 xDrive30d too.



With or without power upgrade, the engine bay styling with AC Schnitzer logo is available for all models.

Even at a standstill, the X3 by AC Schnitzer shows off its assets - and not only when the bonnet is open. For the 6-cylinder petrol models 2.8i and 3.5i, an AC Schnitzer sports exhaust made of stainless steel is currently in development. This improves response and provides that special sonorous sound. The chromed "Racing" tailpipe trim sets the finishing touch to the exhaust system. For purely visual enhancement, this tailpipe trim is also available as a stand-alone accessory for diesel variants.



Individualists want to fly high, and to ensure that the agile X3 by AC Schnitzer remains firmly planted on the ground, the Aachen engineers have come up with a suspension spring kit for the optimum combination of sports performance and driving comfort.



The aerodynamic kit for the new X3 includes a striking front spoiler, the rear roof spoiler and the AC Schnitzer protective film for the rear skirt.



The AC Schnitzer sports airbag steering wheel, currently in development, provides that sports car flair and safety in the interior. As well as the sports steering wheel, further unique "inner values" of the X3 by AC Schnitzer catch the eye. Sporting accents are set by the AC Schnitzer aluminium gear knobs in anodized silver/chrome or "Black Line"/chrome, or with digital gear display, and the "Black Line" aluminium cover for the BMW-specific i-Drive system controller. Further impressive design elements such as the AC Schnitzer aluminium pedal set, an illuminated leather gear knob, and the AC Schnitzer velours foot mats, make the fully fitted X3 totally unmistakeable.



Such a special appearance must include the right wheels and tyres. This was also the view of the Aachen-based tuning specialists, who have given the X3 with BiColor a choice of Type VIII forged racing rims in 22 inch, or Type VII racing rims in BiColor or silver in 22 inch. One-piece rims of Type VI (BiColor), Type VIII (BiColor) and Type IV (BiColor or Silver) are also available in sizes 18, 19 or 20 inch. Forged alloy wheels Type V in 20 inch are of course also part of the extensive range.



The AC Schnitzer range for the new BMW X3 leaves BMW fans with only the problem of choice, and thus extends the unique versatility of the vehicle with even more individual driving pleasure.

Body preparation
Kahn Design we had made the mouth water a few weeks ago, by presenting us with sketches of his next project on the Evoque, called RS250 Vesuvius. This was announced for the month of July, the delays are respected by the English firm of Bradford ...

As usual, and Kahn focuses on the body of the Land Rover SUV, shaping an aerodynamic body kit. A kit that includes new bumpers front and rear spoiler, a new diffuser with twin tailpipes central LED lights, and a new grille.

The preparer adds British suspensions for lowering the car of 35mm. The brake calipers are painted copper, along with 22 inch rims.

Inside, Kahn opted for a custom interior with black leather seats with orange contours mixed with a touch of Alcatraz, door sills in stainless steel, and a center console in carbon fiber. To provide even more privacy on board, the windows are tinted, heated seats ... A large project here by Kahn Design has not yet released the amount of this preparation, but it should soon ...

JMS provides a preview of their accessory line for the new Audi A3. From October the finery available.

We need only one picture, but on that basis we are already quite impressed with how the new tuned Audi A3 with various JMS goodies look like. What immediately strikes the eye is the major spoiler underneath the existing front bumper. At the moment it does not jack on the rear using coarser side skirts, but what is not is yet to come.

OZ
Because the car wheels are also not lacking. JMS was awarded the prestigious OZ enabled and may provide different wheel designs in different sizes. The A3 on the picture rests on 19 inch racing wheels. Cost? For € 2.599, - they are yours. Want the OZs best to justice to perhaps a than an idea.
